ACP Selection Process

Admission to the program is very competitive, with enrollment limited to 20 students per program.  Therefore, meeting minimum requirements will not guarantee acceptance.  A waiting list will be maintained, recognizing that some candidates may change plans, opening seats for other applicants.

Those candidates who have submitted the required information with thieir application will be invited to the school to participate in our selection process.  During the selection process candidates will complete written examinations on Math and Reading comprehension as well as a Primary Care Paramedic level written, skill set and scenario based evaluations.  Candidates will also be rewarded points for volunteer work and instructor qualifications (certificates must be provided).  Each section will be awarded a point value and those candidates that receive the top overall marks will be selected for entrance into the school.  Each year there is tight competition for seats, so candidates should be prepared for the selection process.
